Greasemonkey

Have you used greasemonkey ? What really it is and does it work? I have heard it works on firefox, has anyone used it with Chrome or I.E also? Please let me know if it is available for Chrome and what is the benefit of it and how it works?

Greasemonkey acts as the script actor it process the define script.
