How do you think to use pirate software?

Though it is not a good practice to use the pirated software, the cost of such software make to use the pirated and illegal one. If we take some of the anti virus software, they are offering the trial version of their product for at least one month to 3 months.On the other hand, if we wish to buy that one,it will cost between 40-75 USD, for the period of just one year. Here two con traversals are there.First they are offering 1 moths trial version .Second one is the license is for one hear only.We can create multiple accounts with many email ids, to use the software for one year.For the whole year, it will take a time of just 3-4 hours, to finish all of the formalities, such are creating accounts,downloading the software and installing it.Then why should we spend that much for one year? If it is minimum of 5 years, then most of the users will buy.Of course trial versions come with lesser features, but they fulfill the main purpose.Many of the people who are well versed with computers are ready to even reinstall the OS,for the use of free software, as some software not get installed after the license expiry. If they.either reduce the price or extend the license period, they can expect a huge sale in software.They should expect to get back the invested amount only from few users,who genuinely want to use the original software.Otherwise they should stop the trial versions or limit the period of trial versions.

Well, if the software is too expensive to buy, I will choose to use the pirate one. I do know there will be many problems to use pirate software. But comparing to the expensive price, nothing can stop it. So if the government want to fully stop the pirate software, they should try to find ways to reduce the prices of the software. I know many people use these kind of software. They can use it just like the genuine one. There is nothing can push them to stop using the pirate because they just love to.

Hey I am not going to use original software like window XP which cost more than 400$ if my hardware cost me less than that. I think reason for being popularity of Windows is due to all these pirated ones.

I think it is not right to use pirate software,if you wanna use free software,I think there are tens and thousands of it..most open-source software such as linux are free..

Pirate software,yeah,i are using! ^_^ is it about law?i think authorized softwares are so expensive and i havent enough money to afford them. Downloading from Internet is normal to me,and then try to seek the key of the authorized softwares. Linux is free system,but many softwares are still not compatible with it,so,i give up.Windows is my only choice,unless there are big changing.

I would be a liar if I say no. I was only a beginner back then and know nothing about the disadvantages of using it. I got my first computer when I was in second year college, that was year 2002 I guess. I need to be updated with the different softwares thus, I need buy for it. My friends told me that it will cost a lot to avail for the copy and the only option is buying a pirated cd or find for a free download. But people change and I changed. Thank you.

friend when i purchased my computer for first time i used my pirate software but it affected my computer and i wasted 1500 rupees on software and hard dish disk problems and now i advice to all mylot users not to use pirate software's it may affect you via virus trojan etc.... "Pirates are virus and trojan so its useless to use pirates"

I'm also working at an software corporation .I like to use free software, It's free and easy to use. I will paid for some good softwares which I have to use, but my os has no licence, it has a too high price to be paid.

Most of the software I use is pirate, I cannot afford to pay for all of them, they are very expensive and sometimes I just use a program for few times or even once and that's it. If the prices were low I would consider buying them. I can understand that to create a software it takes a lot of time and people to create it and in some cases they don't do profit if it is expensive and people will not buy except for companies who cannot use pirate software. But if they lower the price more people will buy and in the long run they can earn from it.

I use it if the software is too expensive, and I need to use it badly, otherwise if its cheap, I buy it

I am happy with my licensed Vista Business now, after using the unlicensed for 4 years. I am also using free avg8 as my anti virus... and a licensed Office 2007 from Home use.

On the position of a software developer,i do not hope people to use pirate software because this action is not respect to the developer. On the position of a software user,i want to use more free software because i can save more money.

Hard to say and Difficult to answer your question,what i understanding in the world there are 2 group of people,(RICH PEOPLE AND POOR PEOPLE),so the pirate software can helping POOR PEOPLE,POOR PEOPLE also got chance to use software like windows xp,vista,so they can learn use computer without used more money to get original software and hardware.For me it's good coz mostly all people can still use the important software to learn,teach and generate a idea with computer for everyone.For RICH PEOPLE anytime they can buy the authorized software for their computer,that's not problem.

Well I am a computer science student and later a software developer. I am using pirated softwares for years now but I did not realized that piracy can hurt programmers like me. In my opinion using pirated software is bad and must be stop.

I have used them...there's not a lot of difference, just customer service. hahahaha

for now, when money is still big problem to me,pirate software is the best and only alternative for my computer.when,i have bigger income i will move to original software because i fed up with the register your software banner.
