Can you imagine how expensive the tuition cost you, including the textbooks that you gonna pay for every semester, or quarter. If you are lucky enough to have Hope scholarship to pay for you every semester. Just consider it, you take full - time in college, a typical of 4 years to get you to graduate. What if you can graduate in 3 years. By saying that, I meant a 3 - year program college would save you a lot of money for the tuition, don't you think? Now, in New York, they have some colleges provide 3 - year program for undergrad students. If you work hard enough, that might be a alternative desirable choice for your education.

I can tell you exactly how much my 4 year degree is costing: 4 semesters at $750 of tuition, books $400 a semester 4 semesters at $2500 in tuition, $750 in books 1 summer semmester at $2000, 500 in books 1 summer semmester at $1000, 250 in books The only way I could have spent less is if they required less courses, because I took every class I could at the Jr college for a fraction of the university price. I could have also graduated in 3 years if I took a minimum of 20 hours a semester. There are alot of basics that I took that bored me out of my mind but I will actually use them. I know that there is no way I could have done well in my classes if I was taking more than 5 a semester (like I am now) But If other people can then I think they should be able to.

4*(750+400)=4600. 4*(2500+750)=13000. 1*(2000+500)=2500. 1*(1000+250)=1250. 4600+13000+2500+1250=21350. I think $21350 wasn't that expensive after all, or at least compared to mine.

Your right it is cheap, but that was not at a major University. For where I am and compared to the money I make, it is a ton.

I am getting worried as well even though I won't graduate until next year. With current world economic downturn, not sure whether can I get a job let alone earn back what I have spent, it is like £20000 a year for tuition fees, moreover I have to rent a flat to stay during term time.
