On my more personal accounts, I don't. On facebook, plurk, Multiply - I try to keep my friends list "clean" - I only add people whom I know (rarely do I add people whom I have not met). I like how Multiply states that its goal is to provide for us a "meaningful network" - so it does not encourage members to add people they are not related to :) Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I will not accept any such invitations from anywhere in the internet. By doing so , most of he time we get tensed because of their chatting torture when we are busy in some other work and if they know our mail id, hen it is filled with their spam mails. It is better to beware of unknown persons.

I also don't accept friend invitations from strangers. I prefer creating a "meaningful network" rather than accepting invitations from people I don't know. Most of the time, I figured that these people really only wanted to have as many people on their friends list as they could - I don't really know what purpose they have for it. However, I have a mySpace account that I don't really bother with. I don't mind if strangers invite me as friend there because I don't really spend time there - facebook, friendster and Multiply on the other hand are for people I know only :) Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I accept by seeing the profile of the person, if the profile is complete and good to impress me i shall accept or else i just reject the request.
