hi~ my lotters.
today, i had my hair permed today for the first time. i did not want to perm hair at the start, and i just only wanted my hair shortcut. but the barber suggested me that it would be more suitable for me to have a new hairstyle. so i accepted the advice, and had my hair permed for the first time in the past three decades. it costed me about 300yuan(about 50 USD) and spent me about 4 hours. actually i'm not used to perm my hair as a male, and i try to accept the new hairstyle.
now may i ask you, my friend, have you ever permed your hair? how much it would cost you and how long would it take?thank you for your response and may you have a good day.

I've done all sorts of perms. The ones I do myself cost me around 10 dollars. If I let the salon do it then it is around 60 dollars. Now that I have longer hair though it would probably be slightly more because they charge based on length.
I'm letting my hair heal though so I've not permed it in over two years. It still has a great deal of curl left though as my hair really holds a perm.

Thank you. I recently bought clip in hair extensions that I love. With that I bought a new cream that is a deep conditioner that is wonderful for my hair. It's by Her Styler and is really nice. Namaste-Anora

well, my friend, from the mylot icon, i can feel that you really look good with your permed hair. and also i admire that you can do it yourself. maybe i think i'll heal my hair for at least half a year and never perm again. because i'm used to my straight hair. lol.......

I have had my hair permed last year and usually get it done once a year I did not this year do to lack of finaces.
But it usually takes about 4 hours for the whole process depending on how long your hair is.
As for the cost I don't know how much it would be in Yuan money but it cost about (85 USD)
So I would say you got a good deal depending on the lenght of you hair also because the longer your hair the price goes up also.
Not sure if they do that wear you are.
So are you happy with the new look? I am sure you may have to get used to it.

Well it will be more than a couple days if you wait it out it may last up to six months.
You may like it in a couple of days after it relaxes.
Also if a perm is like (85 USD) how much is it in yuan money?

well, i should say i'm not satisfied with my permed hair now. and as i don't want o perm again. so there are no choices for me. just wait, waiting for my hair grow. and cut the permed hair. lol.......in my dream my straight hair are back again. the dream will come ture in the coming days.

i had it permed 10 or 11 years ago i didn't want it perm my mom made me i cost alot of money even when i did for home i cut of all my perm hair a year ago and now i'm very happy with my nartal hair i grow more hair in one year then i had when i had my perm hair i don't think i would never ever us perm on my hair agin its evey bad for the hair.

I have permed my hair but that was in high school.. I dont think I have really permed it since then... maybe once or twice and I have been graduated from high school now 20 yrs....LOL
my aunt did everyones hair in our family so it only cost me the the price of the over the counter perm and about 3 hours of my time at my aunts... plus we got dinner everytime we went there too...LOL, so it was worth my time.

well, it looks like that you do not perm hair often, it is about several year ago.^_*
i think your aunt's techniques of haircut would be nice, and she must be a kind person being loved by your whole big family. i want to have the aunt as yours, but i haven't. ^_*

When I was around 12 years old I had a perm. I dont think I would ever do that again.

I have permed my hair, many years ago in the late 80's. My hair is wavy to begin with but I wanted the spiral look. I know, embarassing! The problem with perms is that they fry your hair and they don't go away. They grow out! So you can end up with half a head of curly hair and half a head of straight. I would strongly advise against it, unless you plan on keeping up with it for many years. It takes a few hours to get the perm and abt a year to grow it out.

well, it's the truth that the hair will be half curly and half straight in the end. and i really don't want to permed my hair always. 3 days had passed, i'm still not used to the permed hair on my head. so i think maybe this is the last time for me. and i'll get my straight hair back.

I never heard of a guy who has permed his hair and I hope you like it 
When I was younger I want to perm my hair but my friend told me that its not good and I think she's right. I love my hair what ever it looks like

I had permed my hair before but the result was not as good as I expected. After that time,I don't dare to perm my hair anymore,I think it is not suitable for me as perming the hair makes me look older. I hate it.

Yes I have permed my hair. I did like 10 years ago. My first perm lasted like 3 1/2 weeks. So I decided to try is again. The same thing happened! My perm lasted only 3 1/2 weeks again! I couldn't believe it! My hair just doen't like to be permed! I have not tried it since and won't ever again.

Yes,I had permed my hair twice.The first time I permed my hair was three years ago when I was a college student.The second time I permed my hair was two years ago.It also took me 4 to 5 hours to finish the procedure of perm.At the same time,it also made me pain.And it cost me almost 200 yuan each time.It kept one year long and it won't deform.

i permed my hair few year ago , dunno why i think don't suit me or not use to it. my hair quit long so i spend about 80 sing dollar , meaning about 50USD too..
i took 4 hour sitting there too, i remember the curler a litter too hot,almost burned my ear .

Hi,I had my hair permed three weeks ago.It is also my first time.It took me 4 hours ,too.The price is almost.When I finished it,I can't believe the girl in the mirror was me.I didn't adapt it.Even I wanted to make it back.My friend said it suited me and I needed time adapt it.now I think the hair style suit for me .By the way ,I have the same reason to perm the hair.

I've never permed my hair. It is something I have considered lately however because my hair wont hold a curl and I really want my hair to be wavy like Taylor Swift. I'm thinking of getting it done for a family wedding next year.

I haven't tried that before but I really do want to perm my hair. I'm saving up for that. Maybe by the end of summer my hair would be permed. =)

i have not tried that. i don't usually style my hair. i am just lazy person. but i think it is cool to get some style. but i am just not good at it and that is why i am not motivated to do that for myself. for those people who looks great when being styled on their hair i think i can volunteer to style their hair if i know how to style.

i never had it. My hair is wavy and sometimes its more curly look when i put oil or hair conditioner to it. I dont want to get it straighten too, i tried once and my hair was damaged. i think my hair is sensitive. i just tried to make different hair styles. That way, i dont have a boring looks. hehe.

I haven't had a perm in my hair since I was in 7th grade. That was the last one I did because I got tired of wasting my money, well my moms, on a perm that wouldn't hold. My hair if very thick and heavy so it always pulled the curl right back out after the two day wait of not washing it. I would love to have one that took, so I wouldn't have to waste my time curling it with a curling iron when I wanted it to be curly.
The last time I priced a perm was recently for my mother n law and around here they base price on lenght, so mine would run me about 85 dollars because my hair comes to the small of my back.

Before my baby was born, my hair was permed.in fact it really looked beautiful.but it really very expensive for me, it cost me more than RMB400.This was the first time i paid so much to perm my hair.but i was very satisfied.and recently i decide to perm my hair again.for i think i am fit on this kind of hairstyle.
