How much does students' insurance cost?

Students in Asian countries are not required to pay insurance. They pay only if they want to. How much do American students have to pay? What about foreign students?

What! Thats mad! I have to pay £2,000 GBP for mine. And that is after hours of hunting and also pass plus.

Yeah... It's a little unfair. I dont' think we should pay for insurance that we don't need at all.

Yeah, not fair at all. I pay for insurance, yet if I have a bump I don't get anything, and have to pay for my own repairs, so what is the point? So annoyingly expensive.
