It was already proven that smoking is harmful and can cause lung cancer, but still more and more people are into smoking, even getting younger. Are media awareness campaign still not enough, or people just choose to ignore it. What's worse is, the recievers of second hand smokes suffer most which are usually non-smokers or children, than those who really smoke. Is it really hard to quit smoking when your doing it for so long? I don't think so, it depends on how strong the will power of that person to stop or not to stop. My husband was a smokers since he was a teen-ager, and he is on his 50's, he tried a few times to quit, but then after sometime he's at it again, he tried again this time, and it's already been 2 years since he quit smoking,i guess he'll succeed this time, he is now concern about his health..

I think the awareness campaigns are enough, but people just ignore it. Those young people just look at it as an act of some heroism, I think. Hiking the price multiple by 100 or 1000 would be the only way to discourage smoking, besides fining people for public smoking. The vendors must be insisted to construct a smoke chamber at their cost, otherwise they too should be fined. I am totally against smoking.
