Are use twitter to making money online?

Everybody talk about twitter. For the first time, people use twitter to write about any topic on short write that only allow 140 character or less. But now days, many people has notice that twitter can become making money online machine with follow and follower feature n twitter. Are you belief it? For me, I have learn and do to proof that twitter can making money online and until now I am not yet can proof that case. How about you? Do you have monetize your twitter and earning money from twitter?

I use twitter, quite a lot as besides keeping me up to date on what my friends are up to, and vice versa, it also allows me to inform others who are following me, what I am up to, what sites I am visiting, interesting articles etc and more importantly when my blog is updated.
So although it is not helping me directly financially it is helping me more on a marketing level, which so far seems to be doing me more good than bad.

I use twitter too. I'm join on there because followers the site is conversation can earn money ( you can see conversation example in my profile ). About use twitter can make money,I think you can put your business in twitter an make a lots referrals so you can earn extra money from that.
