Have you been lost in a crowd when you are young?

Well, one or two times for sure. Once when I was something around 5-6 years old. I don't remember anything from that incident but my mom tells me that I was the one who used to walk a little ahead of my family. One day when we were going to a fare in a big field. There the main gate was full and the entry was free so, we tried crossing the fence. It was me who was being crossed by my parents and then they were busy in helping other family members. I didn't stop there thinking that my parents must be coming behind me but after sometime, I did get realized that no one is coming. So, I started crying. My mum is an intelligent lady, once they realized that I am lost, every one got paniced but my mum knew that I can only go straight and she did go straight to find me and could find me after some distance and I was crying like anything! Scary isn't it?

I don't have any memories of being lost in the crowd when I was young. Although I have several memories of mistaking the "guy beside me" as my dad. There was a time when I absentmindedly reached for the "guy beside me"s hand because I always do that with my dad then realized I didn't know him LOL I almost cried. I found them after a couple of minutes. I must have been 6 years old then. Thanks for the response on my discussion!

we'll i have not experienced such situation but i also have other experience when i was a child and this happen when i am in a nursery school. I have wait for my nanny to come for me.. but she did not come.. so i was crying and crying until the dark. i ask for the guard to let me go but the later did not allow me since its not safe for me to go home alone.. and also its a school policy not to let children go without there parents or guardians.. to continue the story.. its about 7:00 pm so i was still crying and at those time felt hunger too until my mother came. i was really happy and my mother brought me to a restaurant we eat together.. and after that she fired my nanny cause of not getting me at school.. Good for the my nanny..

Oh my god this is one of my experienced before that I can't forget. I experienced this when we had an excursion. We went to a particular beach resort here in the Philippines and while I am swimming in the beach I didn't noticed that I am going far away from our cottage. And when I realized that I started to cry and I don't know what to do I am 8 or 9 years old at that time if I am not mistaken. Fortunately I lost with my vest and that vest help me to find our cottage because there was a print there and it was a number and I don't know what's that what important to me at that time was to find my way back. One man noticed me crying and he said the right way to our cottage. That was my experienced and until now it's here on my head.
