can you give ideas to get relief from severe depression.......

depression is overloading the mind with multiple thoughts or pressures, that the mind or brain cannot able to withstand..so we burst out in depression and tension.Most time, its my work..with ontime deliveries and work loads. I try to divert mind on music and i feel better.

First, since we don't know the situation with your job, is it something that you can control, is it about lay off, people, etc.. Sometimes,I have a good friend at work that I like to talk to and sometimes just being around someone, telling stories, joking really helps. If it is a situation you can't control.....sometimes going that next step...if you feel your going to lose the position, start looking for another so you have back up. Getting into a severe depression is not a good thing. just normal depression can really hurt someone or the family. I know it is hard, but when there are things not in our control we have to realize we cannot do anything about it. Doing something that you really like to do can ease one's depression also. Reading a book that you really like, writing a diary helps tremendously also, writing poetry or just writing in general. Talking/chatting like you did here, on myspace, blogging. Relaxation, yoga, stretching, I also like to for a walk (of course on nice days) Not dwelling on any type of issue will help also. I feel myself remembering a bad time alot and I have to realize it is done and over with, there is nothing I can do to change it and I get upset, sad and depressed about it. Then I try to find something else to do to help ease it. Just don't get over depressed and if you can't overcome it.....Please gggooo see a DR immediately :)
