I live in Central San Joaquin California which is in the middle of CA. If you look at my front yard it looks like spring has sprung. My flowers has decided to bloom like mad in fact some of the are over taking the side walk. Now before we moved here I have never had flower beds with beautiful flowers in it. I have taken some photos of my flower beds and will post some of them. The flowers are African Daisy's I have mostly dark purple with some white and yellow ones interspersed in them.

What beautiful flowers! When I went out today I was noticing the two-family homes that have garden areas and saw Hyacinths, Daffodil and Crocus sprouting up and almost overnight they seemed to have blossomed. I sure wish I could have a garden, but live in an apartment.

Beautiful flower patch you have there! I'm jealous as I had commented on someone elses comment yea I'm sitting on a inch of snow that fell Saturday night. Sad thing is the week or so prior we had a 70 degree day! I don't my flowers will look that nice right off the bat. I really need to find the time, patience, to replant my bulbs.

These flowers are not bulbs they are from live plants that my gardener planted. The white and yellow flowers I picked out and put in their puts where I wanted them planted and one day came home and they where planted. I think I have a flower fairy who came along and planted my flowers where I wanted them planted. Heehee. Actually I know it was my gardener.

Right now we have the Monarch butterflies migrating and they are all over the front yard. I love seeing them they are still little and moving to fast to photograph. This summer I will be able to get photos of the bigger ones when my bushes bloom that attracts them.

Thanks for your response. I do love the photos of flowers. I have a large bird feeder and have a large flock of birds in my back yard. I will be sitting out in the yard this summer and taking photos of the birds.
