Hello guys, being a parent can you stand seeing your baby being hospitalized with so many gadgets attached on his/her body? If you would be told by your doctor that your baby has a 50/50 chance of living and no other alternative to live except by putting all of this gadgets would you still dare to go? Try to view the picture I attached...what can you say?

It is really a terrible situation. As a parent it is difficult to digest the words like 50/50 chances. Almost two years ago my younger son was in hospital attached with medical gadgets in many places of his body and was in NICU for one week. He had raised respiratory problem soon after his birth and shifted to another hospital. Mother is allowed to visit him in day time around 12.00 and doctors will explain his condition on that time. The scene was not good in NICU there are lots of other kids were there in same condition or worse than my son’s condition. When I waited for outside the NICU for my turn I met many parents and shared their stories. Many have pre-mature babies and everybody had high expectation on hospital. Many shared much pathetic stories about their kids, and there were little chances for survival but upon God’s grace and doctor’s good care they got the baby back. Yes the hospital was very good even though their charges are high but they can assure the life of Kids even they have chances of 10%. I experienced the same situation and I can’t explain the emotions I felt on that time. I hope GOD will save the child and pray for the same. (I could not viewed any attachment here)

I've been in this position a year ago. It's very, very difficult seeing your child attached to so many medical gadgets, crying.I remember that my husband and I would keep praying that may the Lord transfer all her pain to us. I remember not being able to breath until she stabilized. I always pray that other kids (and parents) should not go through this.

Yes. It would be really sad. If we could transfer all the pain our baby suffered we rather do that than our sick baby... thanks
