was kane really hurt bad during the year 2002?

hi friends.i am a big kane fan.ofcourse i am pretty much pissed off at the way kane is being used these days.well today i was watching an youtube video of kane and in the comment box,someone wrote kane got his bicep muscle torn and came back wearing a half mask somewhere during 2002.thats why his biceps are smaller now.he couldnt workout so he got fatter and he is losing these days to give rising stars like mysterio and kingston some boost
well i am not sure of the credibility of this story but it could be true seeing how things went with wwe.

I do remember Kane being hurt for awhile and coming back with a different look. And yes, he does lose to give rising stars a boost. That is his role now. He is a gatekeeper. He weeds out the crappy guys from the good guys.
