Have you ever regretted doing a good deed?

I have. I do regret a good deed every single day. I found someone a job working in my office. But not everything is sunshine and roses and it turns out that this person is not the friend I thought. Have you ever done something for someone that you now regret?

Hi, deejean06! I really don't regret doing a good deed for someone! But it is only when I feel that this person may have tried to use me. Or they may have taken my help for granted. This is another reason. And one more would be if they treated me bad after I have done good to and for them. To be honest with you, I let God handle this person for doing me wrong. I don't handle them myself. I love doing great deeds for someone, but I would appreciate if they would appreciate me doing something nice for them. No one likes to be taken for granted!

Hi cream...You truly understood me in this discussion! I do feel like this person used me, has taken me for granted, and has treated me badly after all my kindnesses. I will take your advice and let g-d handle this person. I truly thought I was doing good but it turned out really badly for me and really well for this person. And you're absolutely right - no one likes to be taken for granted and I try to be appreciative to everyone who does right by me. I just don't feel like it has been reciprocated in the least. Thanks so much for your response.

All of the time as when I was in school they promised me if I did my work I would be able to go early home and well the teacher lied. So I was really angry after that and didn't do the work anymore as the teacher just kept lying to me and then laughed at the end of the lesson

Hi maurice...That is terrible that the teacher lied to you however I don't think that you understood the discussion. I was asking about regret over a good deed. I suppose you regretted doing the work - was that your good deed? It's terrible that the teacher laughed at you at the end of the lesson. I hope you have a better time with other teachers. Thank you for the response.
