Hi! I am a Filipino...and i was wondering if how many mylotters have visited my country. Have you been to the Philippines? What is the most beautiful place that you visited here? And what did you find most memorable about your stay?

I haven't yet been to the Philippines but it is high up on my travel wish list. I would fly into Cebu Airport and from there go island hopping. I would snorkel around the colorful coral reef. I would visit Bohol Island to see the Chocolate Hills. I have seen photos of the Philippines and it looks incredibly beautiful. I can't wait to go there.

That's great to hear!!! Yup, you should visit Cebu and go island hoping (haven't gone island hopping in cebu though). We always go to Bohol and aside from the Chocolate Hills (note, if it's rainy season here in the Philippines, these are green. So if you want to actually see them brown, come here in summertime like April or May) we so love snorkeling in Balicasag Island. They have a marine sanctuary there and boy, there are lots and lots of fish and corals. We even got to see a school of fish! It was a very memorable experience. Worth doing over and over again! :)

Hey, i've been there. I went to a quite beach name "White Beach", i am not sure you know the place or not, one of my Filipino friends took me there, becasue we did not have enough time to go to Sebu and long beach. It was a beatiful place, it was july at that time, so it's not very crowed, people there are nice, and i went to a big church there, it was my first time ben to a church, i felt very exciting. I wish i can go there again some day.

I am also Filipino :) I have made it a point to travel to some places in the Philippines to support its Tourism and more importantly, to appreciate the beauty of my very own country. I've been to Boracay, Pagudpud, Palawan, Cebu, Bohol, Tagaytay. I realize that they're all beach places :P Probably because we have so many beautiful shores and that we really like our summer vacations :D

You are right oyenkai! We really should visit more of the Philippines and see how beautiful our country really is. Many tourists visit the places that you have been to. And I have been to some of them as well. I am also hoping that I can get to visit as many places in the Philippines as I can! Take care!

I'm a Filipino too. And I live in the Philippines. But if you'd ask me if I have been to the Philippines, then, no.
It's like the song title, "Never Been To Me." I've lived all my life here but I have never really explored our country that much.
I only see the wonderful tourist spots on TV but I've never actually been there.
Other people from other places would do everything just to be here. I'm like a foreigner to my own country. Actually BOHOL has lots of tourist spots I have never ever seen. To think I lived here all my life but no I am not that lucky.

Oh, that's a bit sad. You live in Bohol but you haven't been around it? I loooove Bohol. Have been there 2x and every trip is different even if we visited the same places. I loved snorkeling in Balicasag Island. Of all the places I have been to, snorkeling in Balicasag is the best! I am hoping that some day you get to go around our country, it's beautiful. I have just been to a few places and I am looking forward to visiting more.

It is sad, right? Touring entails money so that's enough reason why. However, I have been to Balicasag once. It was a magical experience.
We wouldn't have gone there hadn't it been for our relatives from Manila tagging us along to go on a trip to the island. I snorkeled for the first time in my 24 years of existence. You can't believe how much I haven't tried and seen in my own province.
