No matter its a question that deals with two authors of two different genres.. BUt who is the best..The one who created a world of magic and stole our hearts.. Or the one who gave a new meaning to the romantic and fictional stories by her beautiful love story between a girl[Bella] and a beautiful vampire[edward].

They're both prolific writers in their own rights and they have legions of fans for the magically awesome works they have produced. Nevertheless, as I've studied J.K. Rowling and her septology, which I all find fascinating, albeit in varying degrees, in one of my lit electives in college, I would have to say that she is the better in creating a world of magic. To be clear, I'm not taking anything away from Ms. Meyer, especially given how explosively popular her novels have become, but I just enjoyed the Harry Potter series better, apart from the reasons I've already stated above. What's even more amazing about J.K Rowling's story, though, was her personal struggle to just get her books published. As a single mom, she had to deal with several rejections (a dozen, if I'm not mistaken), before her first book was finally published. That in itself, I feel, was already magical. The comparison does not end does it? They are very different authors, and one has only to read their works to pick the best. Very different stories too. They both have their own style of writing. But I would choose Rowling if it was up to me to choose who is best at what she does, and that is to create a whole new world and cram it into 7 wonderful books that is loved by people of all ages. Even her short stories are the best. I can't imagine Meyer coming up with a short story.
