Which do you pefer to use? Sanitary napkins or tampons? I prefer both. How about you?

I am one of those women that refuse to be hampered in life. Therefore, I use only tampons. I love the freedom tampons give me. I can do anything. At anytime. And for a few years now, tampons are made for heavy heavy flows. I can not even imagine being held back by sanitary napkins.
Ironically, the ancient Egyptians were the first recorded people to use a type of tampon. Though it was to "plug up" not to absorb. LOL

Actually I prefer none, as I've gone through the change and love it. I grew up during a time, though, when young girls didn't use tampons. When I had periods, starting at age 11, I always bled really heavily, and pads just weren't enough. I had to worry all day at school about blood stains. Eventually I switched to using both pads and tampons, and that's the way I had to do it as long as I had periods. I always felt lucky that I had both options, though. My grandmother, who apparently had heavy bleeding, too, always told me how miserable it was having to use rags and bleeding through them all over your clothes.

I have heard that tampons are good to use but never try to use it since sanitary napkins are widely available in stores and groceries.
I like to use the Cotton Ultra Thin (but absorbent) napkins of Modess

Always Clean with Wings is what I prefer. Tampons feel funky (at least the ones I have tried so far), and all the other sanitary napkins are bulky and irritating.
