Back about 20 years ago, not many taxes at all

I mean, look at how it was about 10 years ago, man, when I was in my twenties everything seemed fine, gas was only 99 cents a gallon, bread was like 75 cents a loaf and milk was about 1.29. It would be nice if we could go back to that time again. I was reading this email that said back in those days we didn't have all these extra taxes, wheel tax, phone tax, sky high cigarette and alcohol tax, it kept going on and on and it really gets one thinking. We seemed to be fine, jobs were easy to find, people actually making it on what they are earning. All these taxes they are taking from us, keep making up.....where does it go? Yes, it is supposed to go to the schools, roads, county's....I don't see anything done but put in someones pocket. How do you all feel about this. I will have to find the email and post....it is really good.
