I've been using Avira on my home PC and so far it's been working well for me. I've heard that it's the most powerful Free Anti-Virus software out there right now.

there is Avg Antivirus free Edition and Avast antivirus are free on the net. Avg antivirus can be downloaded from the avg.com or grisoft.com . But avg antivirus does not have the anti spam capability to catch the spams.

I use ESET Smart Security and i think this is the best. But it is not free,so,you can download a 30-Day Trial and goto www.nod321.com and there you find the UserName and PassWord, then update the anti-virus using this UserName and PassWord.

I currently use Windows Live OneCare. I have a paid subscription but they have free trials. I think we had a three month free trial before we decided to get the paid version. I have also used AVG in the past which is another good one. Good luck with your search!

I've recently switched over to Avast! from Symantec and it seems to be pretty popular for a free anti-virus program.

I use Avast at the moment, ive also used AVG and its also quite good. I like using the Avast screensaver feature that allows you to scan for viruses whenever you are away from your computer.

How about AVG anti-virus free? It is definately free and not to mention the most used anti-virus software ever....You can always go to download.com where there are tons of other anti-viruses like mcafee and there's like reviews of them too. So go check download.com ^_^ But i use AVG of course...
