Do Anyone Cry When They See That Abused Animal TV Commercial??

I love animals and I am all for supporting them, but when that commercial comes I cry every time. Well to be honest I cry every time when I see an abused or neglected animal on the streets or in someone's care/yard. I have always been a big animal lover and I think animal cruelty is the worse. I take in all animals that have been abused or neglected and try to find them a good home or they end being my pet. I have turned in so many people that own pets but abuse them. I live in a small community so for the most part I am liked, but for the ones I have turned in for animal cruelty they hate me. My husband is a Psychologist and he agrees with me that anyone that abuses animals is a good candidate to abuse their children, and or significant other. Animals are just like little children that need to be taken care of and protected. I would like to say thank you to all who care and love animals, to all who have ever taken in a stray or abused animal and to all who has even been a voice to a pets owner and turned them in for abuse. My question to you all is am I the only one that cries each time that commercial comes on??

If you are talking about the one that Sarah McLaughin narrates YES. I cry each and every time. I wish I could take each and every animal in. I find it a very depressing commercial. I to don't know how anyone can abuse and animal who is helpless just like a child. The worse is when people move and leave the pets behind. How cruel is that.

I honesty have to turn the channel. I wonder who chooses some of the most saddest songs to play in the background. I think I probably did cry once, but until I gain money to help the organization, unfortunately I feel even worse if I get caught by the commercial.

I must admit that I do not always have money either considering all the animals I take care of, and that make me feel guilty too. I have to turn the channel most of the time because of the guilt I feel but also because I cry and get made all at the same time at the people that can harm an animal. Just the fact that people care and want to help even when they can't means everything in the world. So thanks for caring.

When I see those commercials, I can't even watch them. I have to change the channel. I find that they're too painful to watch. I really love animals, and like you, Ozarkgirl, I support them, as well. It really breaks my heart to even think about animal abuse. Well, abuse in general breaks my heart.

I always cry whenever I see people abuse animals like they don't care it is alive and feel sad for the homeless animals even in the animals at the zoo. They are locked away from their families and home.

no you not the only one who cries........my six year old cries everything the commerial about abbused animals come on. sometimes i have to change the channel when it comes on because she cries for less 30 mins. so the answer to you question is no your not the only one..
