are there any quilters from maine here??? i am going to retire in july and would love to learn to quilt by hand.

Go to your local library. They will have contacts for the quilt guilds in your area.

i'm not from maine or a quilter, but i think quilting is beautiful. my mom quilts. if you can't find someone to show you in person, i'm sure they probably have some youtube videos with step-by-step instructions, if that's what you're looking for. a lot of the tutorials on youtube are very good for most things. good luck!
