Do The Reputations On Mylot Matter Any More?

My reputation has been the same for about a year now and I was just wondering whether or not it should have went up or down. Does yours still change from time to time?

Mine has stayed the same for quite awhile. I don't know that it matters to me personally. When I was new to myLot the number in that star meant a lot to me. I'm happy that it hasn't gone down more, so I must be in denial that it doesn't mean anything

Mine has been at a 9 for the longest time. People used to get all caught up in the star rating system but to me its just a number. It was nice to have a ten but I guess nine is better than eight! A lot of newbies ask how they can increase their rating and they get tons of different answers, some of which are hysterical but completely off base.

Mine has stayed the same too, I don't know if people still pay attention to it or not. I have noticed that some peoples number have gone up or down.

I do not know, Rozie. It never did matter a lot to me. It never made a difference in how you were paid. People with low stars often were people who had interesting discussions.

It was a blue for sometime when I first signed up, until it dropped mid last year. It's all good though as I don't care for it anymore.

I know what you mean. Mine does not move one way or the other. I was just wondering if anyone else's ever changed.

HI rozie, Mine has gone up and down a bit since last year. it seems pretty stable at the moment . Howeve to be hones, I only loked because you have mentioned it. I used to look every day to see how it was but I rarely both now. I still don't know the methind they use to determine the reatings of all members. I don't think that you earn more money if your repurtation is higher. Do you know? Blessings my friend

Rozie, I've worked hard on your star and many others and have seen some go up and then right back down quite a few points so it's not your friends that are rating you a negative but the trolls who find it amusing to rate a person a negative, even people they don't even know. Some of these trolls are so darned jealous that we're thought good about that they down us for it. Now that doesn't mean I'll give up because I won't for I'd love to see your star come up but it's not budging at the moment. Mine has been stuck on 94/100 for the longest time which makes me wonder if some troll is doing the same thing to mine and is why it won't come up. I know my friends are rating me a positive because they tell me so but it's the trolls that are doing the dirty deed, not us, your friends so because of that, no, I don't think the reputations matter anymore. At least it doesn't to me but I still rate everyone a positive.
