The Present or the Future??.... which one is on your mind?

Right now in alot of areas.... everyone is affected by this economy crunch.. the bills dont stop, the taxes still have to be paid, the car might have to be fixed, the food still has to be bought... but do you get through now and just try to think how much better things can be in 6 mos or a year from now... or are you to busy thinking about today/present?? I have come to the conclusion that I can only do so much right now....and as the bills come in--when the money comes in the most needed ones get paid and then when more money comes in the others get paid... I can only do so much... So I have decided to think of the future... in 6 mos or 1 yr I have to think positive and that things will be better... after all I am now earning money online (little by little)... and I am helping out this way... so in the long run, things will be better. what about you?

some things I think about the future like debts and loans. we try to pay as much as we can into it so that the interest won't drag us down as much in the future, or if we ever have zero money in the savings, at least we don't have too much debt left but everything else like buying things that are not necessity, we try not to think or plan for them. we just focus on paying our bills right now.

think of it this way, what gets paid off now makes it more money for you to save in the future. .... good luck with all of it. thanks for the response.

All I can think of right now is the present as we seem to be living week to week due our financial situation. Even though my husband is laid off he has landed a job but it will not start for about 6-8 weeks. So we are still on pins and needles. Also it will not be at his previous salary but on the bright side he will have more opportunity than in the past. Once we get to that point then I can concentrate on both the present and the future. It is easy to get down but we stay positive because you can accomplish more that way.

well!! i usually think both about the present and the future too and i am a planner. i plan about things that i would do for the following next few months. Sometime it turns out the way i want and sometimes when nothing goes the way i planned , i am usually frustrated. But i do like the occasional surprises and in terms of monetary, i keep thinking of saving money for rainy days but the next time, i see some nice dresses on the windows, i will forget my earlier resolution and off i go to try it on and i spend a lot on cosmetics, my shelf is full of half used stuff. I do like the latest electronic gadgets that comes on the market and possess some of it too. gosh!! its very difficult for me to save money. I am a big spendthrift. So i can conclude, monetarily i think only about the present but i really need to change it.

i would have to say that i consider both all the time. i am always thinking ahead for the future and how i can possiblly handly what problems may occur. the present is on my mind at all times, things can change in an instant, and with the way our ecomony is it is getting harder and harder to manage every day life.

Hopefully everything will be fine a year from now, I pray that. I have to take care of present, as well as I have to plan for my future too. I have to make moves ahead, so I can better prepare myself for the future to come. We all need future planning as well, don't we?

For some reason it has been hard times for our family while the economy was booming. I have noticed that now that everyone is down in the mouth about the economy, we are doing much better. I choose to not follow the crowd, how about you! I choose to dwell on today and be thankful for what I have, do the best I can do today, and let tomorrow worry about itself, because no one can predict the future. I will not allow fear into my life because fear usually has you looking at what you cannot do. I choose faith, hope, a better tomorrow. The last bad recession I had the most beautiful baby and the recession before that I landed the best job I ever had. There has never been a better time for opportunity and prosperity all you have to do is keep going!

well im thinkin of the present im not earnin online like you but i dont really have any financial problems. I have always been a man who enjoys the present and i really think very little of the future, i am not really a planner. this has its pros and cons but is quite enjoyable for me. So even in present times i think more of the present than the future. I truly believe that Future is something to discover not to be planned.
