Ex-marine kills 3 police officers today!

Today when I woke up I turned on my t.v. to find a very sad scene unraveling in our local news. Police officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute between a mother, and her son. The son was an ex-marine who had been dishonorably discharged. There was no warning to the police officers responding that the man was armed. When the first cop went to the door, the man started firing out the window. The man shot both officers, who called for back up. Another police officer who I believe wasn't actually on duty responded trying to save the wounded police officers, and was then shot. The stand off was four hours long before the gunman finally surrendered. The three police officers died and two others were wounded. It is a really sad event. My heart and prayers go out to their families. I just wanted to share this with everyone. It gives me a little more respect for police officers, because today they paid the ultimate price, trying to protect someone.
