Who do you strive to make money for (besides yourself?)

I know this may seem like an odd place to post a discussion like this but I felt that it might be inspiring in this category. I know that there's been discussions on making money, and how to, and what you do with the money but I don't think I've seen one on who you make the money for. Besides yourself, who do you make money for? It could be a fiance, a husband, children, neices, nephews, cousins, homeless, charity... anything, the possibilities are endless. I make money for my fiance and I. Yes I know I said besides myself, but I make the money so that we can save for our wedding and for after our wedding. I inspire and aspire to do and be many things and while I am often confused with who I want to be, coming here is not only a earning experience but is also a learning experience. It's great knowing that I get online and earn, the pennies add up and it's nice to see them fill up our bank accounts or our money jar. So, who do you strive to make money for and why? Be inspired.

I am trying to work hard for my family. I am single, so by family i meant my parents and my youngest brother still going to college. My other brother I also helped when he was still struggling to find work, but he has one now. So he has taken some part of the responsibility from me. All i'm really concentrating now is my younger brother's education. He still have to years til graduation. I'm not expecting anything on return for this sacrifice. I just want to see them be capable of supporting their own family when they finally have one of their own.

That is so charitable of you. I know now many families won't help each other, but you helping your family and wanting nothing in return is so very amazing. I appreciate the response and hope the best for you, who knows maybe your family will surprise you and give you a gift in return!

I strive to make money for my family too. Even though my hubby has a good job and makes good money, I like to pitch in for extras. Any extra money I make, goes towards fun stuff for our family. We save it up and use it for stuff like trips, extra music lessons (for my son), and we used a lot of it to fix up our house. Hopefully by the end of this year, we will have enough to build a courtyard where we will be spending a lot of our time B-B-Qing and entertaining. It all for the family and like I said every little bit helps!!

I'm glad that you are using money for the finer things in life, it's always fun to have a little extra money saved for the "trip fund". Hope you can continue to save and good luck on the courtyard fund! I appreciate the response, happy mylotting, and have a grand day.

I like making money as a hobby online. But really i think it's a benefit to my family. Even when I'm relaxing I'm bringing in a few dollars to help my family. I think it's a beneficial hobby to have. I also do stuff like mypoints and use it kind of like a savings account for christmas presents

I'm glad that it's a benefit and a hobby for you and that you relax while making money online. Sometimes even though the money is needed people will stress because it's hard to strive for things online if you don't have the adequate amount of time during the day to get something done. I appreciate the response.

Hi SomeCowgirl, When I was single and had my first job after College, I asked my dad to stop working since he works far from us and will only have time to visit us once a year and that time when I had my own work, I told them, dad and mom that I will take care of their expenses and so we can spend time together...and my sis also help me with the bills and expenses at home. SO, I work hard entirely for my Parents... When I got married, have to quit my job and relocate and was glad that my hubby was also kind enough to handle my responsibilities to my Parents... This time, I am striving to earn for my my family back home and for my hubby and I...

There are many people in this world and I've found that there are a great deal of people who earn for themselves and not for others. Myself included. I regret not helping out more for my mother and grandparents. I hope I can repay them in a different way by doing all I can to make the most out of the money I do make, and to find ways to earn more and learn in the process. I know this doesn't help them but I hope it makes them proud. Right now I am earning and learning and working so that my fiance and I will not have much to worry on financially for the future. Good Luck in all your endeavors. I hope that you can accomplish your goals of earning for your family back home and for your husband and yourself here. Have a great day.

I think that this is a great discussion baby, and I am sure that there are many people who are striving for their boyfriends's, fiance's or husband's like us, or for their girlfriend's, fiance's, or wives, and then I am sure there are others who are striving for their families such as mom's and dad's, and grandparents, maybe even aunts or uncles, and I know that we are striving for each other to make money since the economy is so bad right now and it is hard to find jobs since everywhere you look people are losing their jobs, and we are especially trying to make money for our wedding, and I know we are also striving to make money for my parents so we can help them with their bills since they do so much for us,especially since they are helping us with the wedding, and I agree the pennies do add up and it is nice to see our bank accounts or our money jar with money in them,I love you with all my heart and soul, have a great day, good luck with all your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

I wanna make money for my parents. I want them to retire now, especially my father who's been working all his life for us, I want him and my mother to at least just go home and take vacations. =)
