In the Harry Potter series, Severus Snape is the Potions teacher at Hogwarts. He hates Harry with all his heart and treats him in an unfair way with no reason. Everyone have had a teacher we fondly remember because he (or she) was a good teacher, because his (or her) subject was our favourite one or because he (or she) was really hot, hahaha. But we all have met teachers that made our life impossible consciously or unconsciously. I remeber an arts teacher at my highschool. Her name was Pilar ans she was a jerk. I have no skills for drawing, either artistic nor technical, but she was always saying I didn´t try hard enough. Her lessons were hell. When I finally passed the exam, I celebrated a big party. So tell me, who was your Severus Snape, and why, of course?

I think you are not going on right way. Always respect your teacher. Teacher are equivalent to your parents. Don't quarrel with teacher otherwise you lost something in your life.

Thanks for your reply. All responses are welcome, but it´s only that I don´t think you are right. Nobody have Absolute Truth in this world, neither parents nor teachers. They are humans and it is possible that a teacher treats a student in an unfair way. That´s the point.

Have you ever watched an american movie called Teaching Mrs. Tingle? It´s about a bunch of friends that plan the kidnapping of Mrs. Tingle, a terrible teacher very similar to your Mrs. Agustin. Hahaha, I am sure you and your friends had the same fantasy...I probably had have it too!

When i was in std. 12'th in DPS Ranchi, there was a teacher called Mr. A.K.pathak.. he was very much arrogant and rude.. he scolded students even in std 12'th and have beaten one also.. he was pretty greedy and was always reluctant to get students to his tutuion place and whenever he knew that some student is studying tution from any other teacher, then his bad days got started.. i also was a victim of him as i took tution from another chemistry teacher out there... so after that my Good days started.. everytime he would come in class and say roll no. 1 come to the blackboard and solve some chemical equation or write some formulas.. and those were preety complex and after it go and stand on your bench... can you think a student of intermediate level standing on his seat infront of whole class... he was even worse than snape...

It should have been hard! Teenagers are very insecure about themselves. They are always afraid of being the center of all the jokes. By forcing you to come to the blackboard he showed a total lack of empathy, sensitivity and compassion. And these qualities seems to me very important to be a good teacher.

I am fortunate in this aspect. I did not have any teacher who target me unreasonably. By the way Severus had a strong reason for disliking Harry. After all it is Harry's father who humiliated Severus Snape repeatedly during their school days.

Lucky you! Teachers that fill their pupils with fear are one of the worst things that can happen to you. Yes, Severus Snape had several reasons for disliking Harry´s father. He and his friends had humiliated Snape and love has something to do with all, but this is no reason for hating Harry so deeply. Thanks for your reply.

My business teacher, treated all the students who did well in his lessons (work wise) with so much respect he may aswell of bowed to them. But the people who struggled with no help or attention at all and he hated them if they didn't get an answer right.
