Can you travel alone?

I saw some articles on the internet, many people did travel alone by themselves. They see this wild wide world all themselves. Along the way, they get acquaintance with others. I admire their bravery, and their experience. For me, I can't even travel alone by myself. I always thought of if I got lost, I need someone to be with me, who can come up with some great idea to get me out there. So, every time I go to strange place, I must need a chaperon, otherwise, I won't travel at all.
Do you need a companion to travel or you can go alone?

i haven't travelled a lot.But i do wish to travel alone as much as possible.Travelling alone,i can make changes at any time.it's more comfortable and casual,i think.

Travel outside is a pretty interesting experience.I like travel very much.I travel out about 2 times every year .
When i travel out always together with my close friends ,i think more people more pleasure .I trave with a few of companions ,we could help and care each other.

At age 18 I traveled around Europe by train alone and I stayed in dorms in youth hostels. I met other travelers from all around the world. When I was 19 I went to Tunisia on my own and stayed in a single room in hotel. At age 20 I went around the world alone my sister had come to Los Angeles and then she went home and back to world and I went on to Hawaii, then Fiji, next Australia and lastly Singapore on my own. These days I travel with my toddler son but I fondly remember the days that I used to travel alone. All I need to find my way is a good quality travel guide book.

Yeah, I would love to do that! It sounds so challenging and fun to me. Hopefully I could save enough for my first travel alone.. =)

well...i think i can..especially when i feel so sad..so lost.
i might like go trip myself..stay alone.
so that i can get over all things myself..
this is a good way for relax
