hi friends.many people here believe that the present indian odi team is the best odi team we ever had in the history of indian cricket.during one of those post match shows,an ex cricketing legend said if u look at the indian line up,everyone is a hard hitting batsmen.they come to the crease and start hitting boundaries and sixes.when u have 6 to 7 match winners in a team, they should be the best team in the world now here is the question.every batsmen in our line up won the match for us singlehandedly atleast during one occasion so does the players in the past.we had azhar, ganguly, dravid, mongia who won matches for us. the only difference i can spot between this team and our previous team is these players can slog at any moment they want. is that enough to be a match winner?

well yes if they are playing in a twenty twenty match all you have to do is hit the ball out of the park..it is not necessary to be a slogger and i dont think you can be that successful if you are just a slogger. most of the batsmen in the indian team at present can hit the ball a long distance but all of them have very good techniques and that is why they are so successful. sehwag has great hand eye co-ordination which makes such an explosive player and the rest have their techniques so being just a slogger wont get you very far.
