My son is ADDICTED to all of the shows on Noggin- especially Wow Wow Wubbzy and Yo Gabba Gabba and these shows drive my nuts because I hear them all day long! DO your little ones watch Noggin all day long?

Hi, sarahbella. Welcome to myLot. Well, Wow Wow Wubbzy and Yo Gabba Gabba are both really cute shows, can't fault him for that. Lol How old is he? My four year old son likes them too, but I limit the amount of time I allow tv watching. He also likes a lot of the shows over on the Sprouts channel. Do you get that channel? I'm sure my son would be addicted too, easily. He thinks the tv doesn't work so well unless we let it rest now and then. Very soon he will figure out I've been pulling his leg on that one......

We kind of rotate between Noggin and Sprout. I like the content of Sprout's programs, esp. the whole morning show thing (it's a cute idea - kid-oriented, live morning show) better, but I HATE the infomercials they play once an hour. Occasionally we watch Disney channel in the morning, but afternoon stuff is too old for my four-year-old (I think). Yo Gabba Gabba IS weird, in a fun way.

right therewith you sarahbella, my little ones love those shows on noggin, the other day i saw sugarland on there. They just seem weird to me with silly looking creatures and dumb names. I sound like an old guy but with so many channels and programs it is funny the one that make it.

My son loves these shows as well - to the point where I had to limit his tv time! He now gets to watch 1 hour (or 2 shows) each day and he gets to choose which Noggin or Disney channel shows. Most of the times he chooses Wubbzy or Gabba, but it does not bother me as much any more. :-) We're so busy working on his Kindergarten workbooks now that he does not miss the tv as much anymore. But even when my son and I go and visit Nana and Papa (his grandparents), my mom keeps the tv on all day for him. Just think of it this way... even though they drive you nuts, these shows have some kind of point to them - manners, using imagination, counting, etc... and they don't have commercials trying to sell your kid all kinds of toys. I've had to ban just about any other kids channel that has regular toy commercials because that was driving me more nuts than the actual show! Trying to explain to a 5-year-old that we can't afford each and every toy that he sees on tv is not that easy. :-) :-) I hope this bring some appreciation to these shows for you. :-) :-) :-) :-) Did you get the chance to watch the Gabba episode with Jack Black? It was really cute. :-)
