This was a very sad event that took place. Mr Jarnail Singh, a journalist who works for a local news paper was at a press conference addressed by the home minister. According to him the Home Minister avoided the question on Sikh Riots of 1984. He justifies throwing shoe as a mark of protest. He wanted to know why no action was taken against CBI. According to him his method was not right but the issue was just and he doesn't want any other journalist to do that. His actions were not planned. He did this as a protest to the clean chit to Mr Jagdish Tytler. Do you think this behaviour was justified?

I agree with Ajit on the point of civilized ways to do things. There was such a case with the US president Bush (I think...). What such an action can result with? I do not know - but there are ways to do things, and I think this act is considered a violent act and should be treated as such. I hope kids aren't taking this as an example of a civilized to voice one's opinion...

I do not think this type of act against someone will results good, we are living in a well civilized society where any matter, problem or issue could be solved by bilateral talk and understanding not by taking the path of non violence. I think journalist should keep patients.
