Which do you prefer a Male or Female to teach you to drive a car?

Did/would you prefer a man or woman to teach you to drive and would you want your Mum or Dad to teach you? Could you teach your children? My Grand father many many years ago taught me to drive, he had learnt before they even had to take a driving test, and then I had a male driving instructor as my Mum and brother said no way would they do it! Mind you if you have been driving for a while you do tend to forget a few things or do them a little different than you were taught and thus you would teach someone else your bad habits. My husband gave my daughters a few lessons and then they too had an instructor. Even then I could not even sit in the seat next to them as I had visions of yelling at them to stop or something and everyone knows of teenage girls and their mums lol.

I prefer a more experience driving instructor whether its a male or female. Somebody who will teach me the right guidelines in driving. And of course, someone to train me to follow traffic instruction.

Who cares. As long as he or she's a good teacher, I wouldn't mind having an animal as an instructor.

I prefer a Male to teach me driving, but my mom's teacher was a Female and she has an amazing exprience of driving. Therefore she taught me how to drive, and I learn a lot from her. I think that women can be good at driving as well, and break the stigma that has for women who drives.

i don't mind if it is a male or a female to teach me to drive a car. as long as the driving school that you will enroll is very professional and a reliable school.

It doesn't really matter to me, whether it's a man or a woman. I have really no preference. Between my parents, I would prefer my father to teach me, only because my mother has had a habit of stressing me, when I was behind the wheel and she was next to me. But otherwise, it doesn't really matter to me.

I prefer a female and she should be a very good driver. What ever she may ,arrogant or something or something .She must be a good driver first.A tutor prevents us from doing accidents.THey just site a side and tell us what to do,so entire thing depends on ours.

In my country, it rarely a good female driver ( not none though ). Sometimes, they drive it too slowly and crawling in the middle of the street that other drivers have to give them attention so they could drive it properly or you have to crawl behind her. Sometimes they just turn to the left or right without any sign or lighting. So, in my place when you detect a female driver around, you have to be more and more careful, because it happened to be they are not mature at all in driving any vehicle. But, in the other hand, I see a lot of good female driver out there in other countries, USA for example, may be in my countries, the culture prefer women to be at home and doing house work, so although in the modern day, still some traditional factors make women can't express themselves well especially in driving ( which is considered to be a male activity ). So, I would prefer a male instructor to teach me to drive. Oh, I also noticed that in the urgent situation, for example when the car is out of control and would be hitting a tree in a second, women tend to give up the control and close their eyes with two palms, but men tend to fight it until the end. This is the different between male and female driver, so it's up to you to choose :-)

In Denmark we are not allowed to teach childrens to drive, you may first get your drivers liscence when you have aged 18, but are allowed to start taking lessons 3 months before your birthday. Lessons must be taken through a liscenced driving teacher, and you have to pass some test/exams to be able to get your drivers liscence. This is fairly expensive and a drivers liscense can easily cost you 2000USD. I was thought by a woman, and personally i dont think it would have been a big difference to me if it was a male or female, the main reason for me to choose the teacher i did, was that the other alternative in the area was known to take "other" things for payments with his female students.
