Would You Sell Your Pets To Pay for a Funeral?

Recently I read a story about three teenagers in England who were forced to sell their possessions and their pets in order to pay for funeral expenses of a deceased parent. This story strikes me as doubly sad because not only had the children lost a parent but also were forced to be separated from their loving pets for the sake of money.

Hi there evemurphy, That is a sad story, How old are these children? Well i think when they can't work and pay for their pet foot it is better to sell them to the family that love the pet and can provide foods and shelter..

Aww thats a horriable story. I live in England myself and I havent heard about this so I was shocked to read about it. I think its disgustiing that people were forced to sell there pets and belongings. Im appalled that this sort of thing happened to children aswell, at least Adults would be able to deal with it a little easier than a child.

No, I hate this type of practice. Even I don't like selling any of my personal things. Specially I love my pets so I can't thin about this
