Comedy movies are getting better

I absolutely disagree. In the past decade, nevermind 5 years, there have been some decent comedies but more have been focused around raunch and schtick and gimmicks that are so far to the extreme they are not only not funny but rarely recognizable as jokes. Thanks but no. I'll take 70's and 80's comedies over the nonsense that been churned out in the last few years. Everyone involved with the "_____ Movie" movies needs to be locked in a room and forced to watch the entire Mel Brooks collection to find out how what they are trying to do should really be done. 30 years later people are still watching History of the World Part 1. No one is going to remember Date Movie 30 years from now. But the "_____ Movie" movies aren't entirely to blame. Disney has vomited up some pretty spectacular crap in recent years too. The Game Plan? Off the top of my head, I think the last decent live-action Disney comedy was The Kid with Bruce Willis.
