If you can get medical clearance start walking a lot, not at a fast pace, just walking. You can also try sitting in the tub, that kicked me over in to full labor in less than ten minutes. ONLY take a hot bath or use a whirlpool if your doctor says that it is ok. You don't want to do anything that could put you or your child in danger. They could put you on petocin but that's something that they usually do if you aren't dilating but you have had your water break or they want to speed things up while you are in the delivery room or have been admitted to the hospital.

Good luck friend with the baby and the delivery. Your waterbag is in tact, and if the doctors feel the baby is ok, trust them. Otherwise you could go in for a cesearian. Let us know the good news soon. Cheers.
