I just read from yahoo news this morning that a veteran columnist of fox news was fired because of writing a Wolverine review in the net. It was revealed that the version he saw was being leaked since 20th century fox is yet to released the film.

ill have to download it since I heard yesterday the movie was online and could be downloaded. But im still going to see it in the theators since this movie looks great and if it is good will be worth seeing it in the imax just hope the picture is good and feels more like a dvd then someone recording it. Wich is why I never download movies when there still in the theator.

Ya, even I don't like this. It is against the law of expression. I want to hate this issue by your discussion. Thanks for starting this type of discussion.

He should have known better than do to that. And then announce it by writing a review. Why can't people just go see the movie when it comes out?

He wasn't very smart. He watches a bootleg copy & then comments before the movie is released. What was he thinking??? I wonder how he thought he would get away with writing on something he wasn't supposed to see yet. I just really can't imagine his thinking!!!

I think they did the right thing to fire him. When you download or watch a movie illegally you are really stealing it. The thing is, people try to rationalize it because they say the actors and producers make so much money it doenst' matter, but the 'little people' the writers, camera people, stunt men, editing people, etc, don't make a lot of money and they really do get gypped. I used to download illegal movies online and copy them but I stopped because I think its wrong. But that's just my opinion, I don't mean to offend anyone. But at least I don't have to worry about getting caught doing anything illegal.

I haven't read the story but what if he had seen a private screening of the movie , which I know producers show . I just saw recently on the Girls Next Door where Hugh Hephner had a private screening of a movie that Bridgette, Holly and Kendra did with the girl from Scary movie . Would he have still gotten fired if he reviewed a private screening . I don't think he should have been fired but he should have been repromanded . Suspended without pay for a few days or something.
