Going to be away from Mylot again because of surgery.

Hi everyone,
I had foot surgery on the 30 March to have my bunion and hammertoe fixed on my right foot. I thought everything was doing fine and went back for my follow up today. The pins the doctor put in have been knocked out of place so tomorrow at 2:00 in the afternoon I will be in surgery so my doctor can fix it. I had hit my toe four times the first three days after surgery. The first three I just bumped it. The fourth time I fell back in the bathroom and hit my toe hard. And that is what caused my pins to be knocked out of place. So back to surgery. I am frustrated but this has to be fixed. So I will be away from Mylot for a few days once again.

I have approved your friend's request. I love to meet new people. I go to the doctors tomorrow for a follow up a week after my surgery. I am sure everything will be fine. I will have three more weeks that I can not be on my right foot at all. But I sure have learned how to zoom around the house in a wheel chair.

Yes, I have a wheel chair and I am thankful for that. I started out with a walker but that was too hard on me because I was having to hop every where and that was hard on my body. My house is a small one so I had to learn how to manuvaur around the corners to get from room to room. Thankfully there are no stairs in the house the rooms are all on one floor. So now I can zoom around the rooms in the house.

Oh, so you have wheel chair too. At least you wouldn't require anyone to get to other parts of your house. I remember when my mum gets her left leg fractured, she needed us to even move one or two feet!
She never liked to get help from us and always wanted to use her right leg to move around and we used to scold her most of the time!

Thank you for your well wishes, dear friend. I have a hammertoe and a bunion on the right foot so I needed to have it taken care of because it hurt a lot all the time. Just taking a shower made it worse. I will be back here as soon as I can because I love mylot.

Hi sunshinelady, it really sad to know that you have suffered a lot to have the said fixing on your right foot recently. It didn’t occur to me that the pins fixed would be knocked out of place so easily. Right, you would feel the terrible pain only due to the accidentally hitting. Lucky that the pins are still in their fixing position.
Sigh! The last fall in the bathroom was serious and gave you a bad hit on the toe, and caused the undesirable result. I hope everything would be okay after having the surgery again to get the pins to be fixed at their accurate positions few days back. Take care when moving or using the bathroom to avoid any undesirable accident, so that your right foot will recover as usual again very soon.
