What would you DO?

I wouldn't report him but I'd probably ask him/her to join me for lunch, my treat. And I'd ask if she can help me with some work and pay him/her for all the help. Anybody who is willing to steal a piece of fruit must really be in need of help! And I'd do what I can to help so that they won't have to stoop to that level!

Hey there! If I saw my best friend trying to steal a piece of fruit, I'd pull him away and talk to him. I'd ask him why he was trying to steal something. If he didn't have money, I'd lend him some or I'd treat him to that fruit. If he did it because of some other reason, I'd try to get him some help.

I will talk to him. Ask him why he did that. And if he needs help I'll help him to whatever I can. There must be a reason why he did that. Probably money because I don't have a friend who steal something from a shop specially fruits.

definitely, i would call for his/her attention... :) i'm a friend and i don't want him/her to be in trouble...
