I always felt that living around with debts around us is a curse. People will not respect a person who is haunted by creditors. He loses credibility. He loses self-respect. His words are not heard to by others, and he merely lives on this earth. Sometimes avarice and greed become the cause of leading a life with debts. If one controls greed and desire, one does not fall into debts. As Buddha observed, desire is the root cause of all evil.
