If you are like me and want to make a few extra bucks online in the evenings, you have waded through tons of sites that guarantee extravagant claims of instant riches. Nearly all of them claim to have already made X number of people financially independent. My question is, with all of these folks running around making thousands of dollars weekly, do any of you personally know any of these people? By the way, this is NOT an opening for spam promo guys to jump in and make even more ridiculous claims. I only want to hear from objective, real folks who have a friend or family member that actually made a go of anything related to MLM, Affiliate marketing, e-commerce and the like. I suspect that real stories will be thin on the ground, what do you think? Christian M. Archer

A very good topic! Actually I do know a couple of good online friends who made a good amount of money in the high yield investment programs. Of course, all of them turn scam some day, but they had the knack of choosing the ones that will stay for a week or so, then getting their money out and not investing in it, and it would turn into a scam very soon! From what I know, they did make about 500-600$ each on these so called HYIPs, and they do believe all of them are scams and must close sometime. I do know another person trying his hand at MLM, but I think he gave up sometime soon and though he did make a decent amount of money - 50-60$ he also had to spend some 30$ or so in getting people sign up under him!

Honestly I don't believe in any rich quick scheme. The only get rich scheme that works are for the person who is promoting it. Promoters sign on new programs and heavily promoting by the time you sign up any of these programs , they are already promote another programs. That is how they make money.

I wish someone around me did and share what they did. I hate the way those infomercials suck you and make you believe that there is a possible chance for you to get rich off of whatever they are trying to sell. It would be nice to meet someone who has had success off of doing something like that and have a legit non-paid for story to back it!
