LOL! You just cannot have some fruits till you have removed their skins, for example mango, melon or orange. There are very few fruits like grapes or guava etc. which can be consumed without peeling their skins. I love to have seasonal fruits and I do not mind peeling their skin and removing their seeds. And if I cannot peel their skins etc., my better half does it for me. She is very found of fruits and would bring it regularly and when she is having fruits, I am also offered some portion of it.

Hello ank. Sometimes when I travel by train, I will wash the apples I bring with me first and place them in a plastic bag before eating them. But if I don't travel, I always peel the skin first before eating it.

eating apple with skin is good to our health. so its a good habbit for u to eat apple with skin .but make sure there is no wax on the skin of the apple. u can easily cut pineapple with a sharp big knife. so cut it with a big knife and eat it freshly. its not good for us to eat store bought pieces of any fruits. so don;t buy them. and eat fresh ones only in house.

I usually leave the peel on fruits if I can, not because I am lazy but because most of the vitamins are actually in the skin itself. You are also losing out on all the fiber if you peel the fruit. If it is an apple that has been waxed to look shiny and more appealing to customers, I will definitely peel that though

in india local fruit sellers won;t put wax in fruits. so no problem for me to eat apple with skin. i will clean thoroughly and eat apple without peeling its skin. but i sometimes only will eat fruits.not interested in eating fruits.

Hello! Most fruits need peeling of skins like orange, banana, pomegranates etc.You can't eat these fruits with skin.So you have to remove the skin while eating by yourself. But you can eat some fruits with skin like apples and guava. You need not peel the skin and eat these direct.I never peel the skin of these fruits and eat direct after washing.thanx.

Hi Ank, I feel the same too - I'm too lazy to peel the skins or cut the fruits up to eat. But I like mangoes very much, and that takes up too much work, so I buy them from fruit stores where they cut and pack up for you.

Hi! I don't think I am lazy peeling the skin of certain fruits that I like and if I am I just wont bother to eat it, lol! I like green mango so much, so I patiently peel the the skin of it and pickled it with salt and vinegar. I guess pineapple is one of the fruit that I don't really enjoy peeling the skin.

I don't think it's lazy just because you don't like to peel the skin on your fruit. Some fruit is better for us with the skin on it, such as the apple. The skin has a lot of fiber, plus when it is in a salad, it makes the salad much more colorful! I peel the skin to oranges, bananas and pineapple. I have never had a pomengranate, but I did find some at the store last night so we will be eating some of those for the first time today. Most markets around here do not sell this particular kind of fruit. I am anxious to taste the pomengranate. I would also like to try star fruit someday.
