Do you feel it's wise enough to pursue journalism after a B.E. IT Degree?

Hiya pals I'm in the last semester of Engineering in IT. I confess I'm in the wrong field already! But I've always had this inclination for writing. I'm planning to pursue an M.B.A. in Mass.Comm. However, many have suggested me otherwise :-( As far as writing goes, I'm quite confident about it. I've also earned quite a bit online thanks to my writing and besides won many accolades. I seriously feel the said course will offer me the scope to pursue my writing ambitions. (Print journalism) Please help me out! I shall be highly grateful!! :-)
