What do you consider a Feminist?

I'm in a Gender Politics class and the subject has become extremely interesting to me, especially considering the variety of issues evolving around the actual definition of what a feminists is. It seems that a lot of generalization goes on, and it seems like most of society doesn't realize the amount of different kinds of feminists there actually are so I was wondering what the people here on myLot thought a feminist is and what they believe all the beliefs are. Considering some of the topics involved like abortion, technology, pay differences, etc. I think this should become a great discussion.
