Etsy.com or Ebay? which one is your fave online store?

just join Etsy today..found out it from one of myspace friend whose are seller in Etsy..i have found out lot's of item sold in Etsy is unique and gorgeous.. But what the best part i love about Etsy,we can request specific design and mention the price that we willingly to pay,then the seller will bid to win our request,we pay for the item and the seller will sent the item to us.. it's opposite from eBay; buyer will bid for the item,while on Etsy;seller will bid for the buyer's request.. i have never buy from Etsy before,but i would love to try this request bidding service..it's look exciting..to see how many seller will bid for our request.. so,i just want to know if anybody who have shop at Etsy will tell me their experience with Etsy!!what's the different Etsy with ebay?which one is better;Ebay or Etsy?Do you encourage me to shop here?If yes,why?If not,Why?Happy Mylotting!!!Cheers
