For me, green is still the best among the colors. It is a restful color. I have another reason behind it too, liking green so much. We are six in a group of friends. Each has its own particular color. There is green, blue, orange, purple, yellow and pink. We always argue about our colors and defend them. They always associate my favorite color to moss while I associate yellow to hepatitis. After that, we'll always end up laughing together, still with our colors as our bet.

My husband is a Psychologist and colors do play a role in therapy, but they many different roles. Doctor's use colors to determine certain aspects of their therapy, they also use colors to help diagnose their patients, like Orange is a favorite color of skisophrenic patients, but just because you like or love the color orange does not mean you are skisophrenic, they have just determine that people are skisophrenic are attracted to the color orange. So yes colors are used in therapy for all different reasons.
