Hi silver, I do know that music has influence on your moods..there is peaceful, meditive music that calms your mind..also hard rock that I guess can just as violent movies give you a sense of aggressiveness...but yes music does affect your moods...littleowl

Yes, music can have negative affects on your health, especially your ears. I see so many kids today walking around with little amplifiers in their ears and the music just blasting away. There's a lot of damage being done to the ear drums right there. I love listening to music and I do turn it up loud when I am in the car by myself, but walking around with those little gadgets stuck in your ear is a whole other story.

hi there, I guess it all depends on what type of music you listen to. It could be from classical to heavy metal and it would not matter as long as you enjoy it and it doesn't affect your nervous system in anyway. I've heard of people saying that "devil's music" is what had those young people do the shootings here and there, but I do not agree with that. You can't blame the person either, it has to do with his/her social background, where did they grew up, how did they grew up, were they happy? were they abused? were they influenced? Music is what we want it to be, it does not makes us.

I think that I heard that music was used as torture, but that may just be an urban myth. Certainly any continuous loud sound can ruin your hearing, that is a fact.
