Is there a FREE program that will scan for viruses AND remove them? I've found a few great programs that scan and tell me that I have 4-10 viruses, then say I have to purchase the program to remove them!!!! I have a couple other ones on my computer now (MacAfee and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware), but they don't seem to notice anything is wrong! I'm SICK of pop ups!!!! Please help!

Yes, there are several free but effective anti-virus software from CNet. Get freeware from CNet because CNet it scans its products. The most popular on CNet is AVG, but it uses lots of space. I use Avast and my daughter uses Avira. Both of these are good and less MBs. For your firewall, you can also get from CNet Zone Alarm or Comodo. Get the free versions. Although now Zone Alarm seems to promote its paid version all the time, but it's still effective. I'm gonna install Comodo next week.

You can try Antivir a free anti-virus software it updates regularly and i feel it is the best anti-virus it takes very less system resources. I think this software may not help you to block pop ups. You can download a free pop up blocker for this.
