YIPPPPEEE KAY AIE!!!!! Nothing like waking up and getting ready to head out to the farm, and walk out to my car and find it has a nice flat tire, and I do mean FLAT DOWN TO THE RIM!!!! I feel like crap anyway started getting sickly yesterday afternoon, ( you know trotting to the bathroom a lot) chills, miserable cool rainy weather we've had; and as I said I find this nice flat tire, @@##$%$#@!!!!!!! So I call my insurance, they come out and take the flat tire off, put on the silly doughnut tire, which had to be aired up, GEEZZ!! Asked My Father to follow me out to Walmart just in case I had more car trouble I know he feels like crap too as he has been sick over a week now and he FINALLY went to the doctor yesterday and had to spend over $150.00 on meds and yeah that's with his medicare insurance too... Then today I had to go and "bug him" to follow me to Walmart and Guess what? My poor old Tire could not be fixed there was a screw in the sidewall of the tire; I had to buy a new tire and My Dad though he is crabby, and b!tching the whole time he usually does come through for me in a time of "need", so he buys two tires this morning for me, That's another $172.40 out of my hide I'll be paying for, plus the lectures, and "stuff" that comes when he has to help me out all the time... Were it not for him though I would not have been able to buy a tire, I barely had enough to have paid for a tire flat fix, its terrible what stupid tires cost anymore even for my Saturn car; Its just crazy!! So finally I get home, he got home safe and sound and I Hope he calms down enough to get a nap in this afternoon, as his body needs it, so does mine but I'm too wound up now to rest maybe in a hour or so I can zonk out for awhile; I cannot believe the things that has had to be fixed, repaired, the last few weeks, first I needed a new dryer vent hose piece (whatever the darn thing is called), then I had to order a new washing machine drain hose, and now the most expensive two new tires....MERCY ME when will it end??? I was needing new tires in fact I could use two more but that's gonna have to wait now til later this summer, gotta get these paid off first; How's your day, week, Month, Year going?? Mine is a constant thing of worry & stress, & illness, Pain, and more stress and more stress; I'm hoping This Easter Weekend passes quietly and we don't get into a big fight over this mess; I certainly didn't plan on all this stuff breaking and needing replaced and for sure didn't ask for a flat tire but to hear my Dad in one of his rants, you'd think I did plan it all I did not; So Happy Easter to all, and I pray yours will be a good one; Me?? I'm just gonna try to "get through it", and I hope he gets to feeling better and I hope I get to feeling better too; It's miserable to be "sickly" and then have to plan on cooking, & baking the Easter Meal...(sigh)!!!

Hey Jan~ I'm so sorry for all that mess! I so know what you mean! I have kind of the same relationship with my mom! It's like I do stuff on purpose! It's my fault when something breaks down and I can't afford to have it fixed! I hear ya loud and clear! OMFG! It's like it never phucking ends! I can't tell you how many times this stuff has happened to me! I can cry with ya, but WTF! I do hope that you will be feeling better, and your Dad will calm down and you will be able to somehow enjoy your Easter? I am going to visit "mommie dearest" next month in Florida! That should be a joy and a half! I will let you know more as the time grows closer for my trip to hell!

Hey jan! Happy Easter! I'm so glad that you made it through without anything serious happening! I am cooking my turkey as I'm typing! It is taking forever, as they seem to do! I have been having one hell of a time too! Got the work that I can have SSI, but not SSDI so I am very upset! That amount will only pay the friggin rent and nothing left! So I have to find out if I can appeal! I worked over 30 phucking years and that's all they want to give me! And I have some stupid firm representing me! I got the letter yesterday so I have to wait until tomorrow to find out if I can appeal! I had another fight with "mommie dearest"! I can't deal with her! Ya wanna trade! I can't talk to her! She is nuts! She's 79 and has a temper that you just wouldn't believe! I am dreading this trip more and more!

HI Sweetheart: Oh how awful for you, do you have a good doctor to help back you up for your disability?? If not I'd find one, and if this attorney or whoever is supposed to be helping you for your disability if they are not doing what they are supposed too ( to help you out) I'd chuck them too and find another place; It's a terrible long ordeal sometimes but worth it in the end; I hope you do get your appeal and things ease up for you; so you wanna trade huh? LOL!! I don't know about that Opal, I love my Father but boy howdie he has a major ranting temper unlike anything I've ever known or seen; it's scary!! I hope things work out for you and you get your disability, hang in there dear friend;

HI Opal Darlin!!! Yeah I know you understand what all I go through, I love my Father but he can be a handful at times; I'm glad to know that I have understanding friends that know all too well what I go through ( family wise) Our Easter actually went pretty well surprise surprise!! I was busy baking, and cooking most of the day yesterday getting it all baked up and cooked so that all I had to do today was take it all out there and stick it in the oven to re-heat and finish up the rest of the meal, he was still not feeling the best today and is still having those damn dizzy spells he has medicine for that, but he's already fell once in the bathroom during this bout of sickness and that makes the third fall this year that I know of; Thankfully he has not broken any bones but at almost the age of 82 he is pushing his luck you know? HAPPY EASTER TO YOU DEAR FRIEND!!! Love & hugs!!! Good luck with your visit with your Mom next month and yes do keep me posted!! Misery loves company you know? (EG)!!!

lets see...my friend is going through issues with her friends in middle school (i am way older than she is) and now she is clinging to me which makes it hard. There are rumors going around the town about the ministers in my church (which includes me)The summer camp I volunteer at lost one of the major directors which means we need to find more workers when it was hard enough already. I lost my job and can't seem to find a new one.

HI rmuxagirl: Wow! Sorry to hear you lost your job and are having trouble finding a new one, that seems to be the case for a lot of people right now; I do hope something comes along for you I know it makes it very very stressful for you; I hope you had/are having a Happy Easter Sunday today; Praying for you and that better days are ahead for you;

There are many times we can relate with what you are going thru, as it does tend to sometimes feel like when it rains, it pours and things will never get any better. We had to put brand New tires on our Car back the end of November, and luckily my husband gets a Christmas Bonus from where he works that helped pay for this as well. But all I can tell you is do not give up hope. If you are a praying person keep your chin up, and Trust God things will improve and everything in time will be OK. Wishing you the Best.

Some of these sickly spells just hang on and hang on. I took antibiotics for an upper respiratory thing but I still have a hefty cough to deal with. It does seem that if one thing in your life breaks a whole trail of other things do too, out of jealousy.I am still needing the extra sleep, so I will get it this evening, I hope. I keep trying to post here and it just loads so slowly. I can hardly stand it. Have a quiet and restful Easter, Jan.

HI ya Gerty: Yeah some of those nasty respiratory things hang on forever and he also has emphysema, and his upper right lobe on his lung was removed about 5 years ago from lung cancer and now he has heart problems so health has really just gotten so bad in this past year; He has the shakes really bad too, I am always fearful of him dropping something now and him burning himself; its always something in my family or with my own crappy health and issues; I hope you and your family are having a good Easter Sunday today; Hard to believe its Easter already, its been chilly and dreary here all day, no rain as yet but a typical Missouri Easter...(G)!!

Sounds like you've got what I had over the past week. Not fun. Finally feeling right yesterday and today. Got more done in two days than in over a week. As far as the tires go, my feeling is that since you care for him and you provide him transportation to and from doctors when he's really ill or injured, then HE'S providing those tires to keep you able to be available to him. Not that you're trying to depend on him, but he also depends on you, so why not help you to make sure you can? Don't feel guilty or overly beholden - pay him if and when you can, but you do a lot for him. Why not let him help you?

Also - get a can of fix-a-flat to keep in your car. Deb used one on her car back in January and the tire is still holding up, believe it or not!! Of course, that's only if the hole is small. You shouldn't expect it to last long, but she hasn't been driving the car at all.

Hey Jerz!! Happy Easter Sunday to you; I keep two cans of the fix-a-flat in my car plus I have a small air tank but I knew by the looks of my flat tire that neither was gonna work for me Friday and since I pay for roadside service on my car insurance I made good use of it and called them to just come fix it for me so I could get to Wally World in one piece I am in no condition to change a tire and the professional even had a hard time getting the tire off; Yeah I know I do a lot for my Father and he does a lot for me too but you know my situation with him, no matter what I do or don't do, there are going to be lectures along with it... So yeah I owe him "again" and again and again; Tell Deb that fix a flat stuff is only a temporary "fix", she needs to get her tire either replaced or something; HAPPY EASTER!!!!
