Have you ever been in a tornado??

When I was five, there was a tornado about two blocks away from my school. I remember looking out of a window and seeing that it was so dark outside. All of us were taken downstairs to the basement. I didn't know all that had happened until my mom told me some time later that there had been a tornado a couple blocks from the school. It gave me goose bumps. :S

We just had one this last fall in that went right down our street. I does sound like an airplane a loud one.. this isn't the only time though, was the closest one for us. We were lucky it bounced up over our house and hit across the street from us and pulled up trees and tore up alot. No one was majorly hurt still lot of damage and lost homes in the area.

nope ive never actually experienced a tornado, but thats probably because i live ages away from where they all happen in the united states, i live in the united kingdom so it hasn't really happened, ive seen them on videos and television but never gone through the experience, id hate to be in a tornado to be honest, glad i haven't seen one.
