I always look around to buy a costume doll for my collection. One I have is carved out of wood and she comes from Romania. I have a pair of dolls hand made from material in Belize. Perhaps the most charming dolls I have is a little family of mum, dad, baby and two children from Kenya. I bought a hand made model house in Indonesia. I purchased a wooden giraffe and some bead jewelry in Kenya. I think that buying handicrafts helps the local people make a living.
