Have you got a tattoo? If you have a picture, may i ask if it is ok to share? If not, then describe it, why you got it and what makes it special to you(i had a different reason but it slipped my mind after watching Jackie Chan movies) Or if you have no tattoo's but you want one, can you please tell what and why :P. I was supposed to get one for my 16th but school work cut into it and now im waiting to get one(hopefully 2. -I want the Japanese Symbol of love on my left bicep -1 Dragon coming from the back of my left shoulder and then biting into the right side of my neck. -a second dragon will come from the opposite side and breath fire towards my throat from the left side of my neck. -In the center of my throat will be reserved for my future Wife's name :)(or eternally loving lady) -The words "Pono" on my stomach -2 wings on my arms, 2 on my legs, 2 on my back somewhere Whys -Because im a loving person ;) -This dragon represents No Lying, Devoured Secrets and Pure of Blood. -This dragon represents Pure Voice, Charisma and Passion. -One of the most painful place for a tattoo and devotion to his loved one. -Pono is a Polynesian word for "Honor, Respect and Chivlary". -The sign of Seraphim, the "Burning Ones" Yes i love Tattoos So, whats yours? :)

It's not that I'm against tattooing, but it's not really great for our body. Besides the risk of having diseases such as aids, I think it's really a disrespect to our body. It's like an indication that we're not contented with our own skin. :p Just my two cents, not trying to offend anyone.

Sounds like you are against it ;). The risk of diseases is very very low. unless your tattooist is a total Noob. But even still, the risk is LOW, especially compared to Sunlight and Tanning. More people become sick just by walking in the sun, than they do getting a tattoo.

No, I don't have a tattoo. It is painful to have a tattoo the idea of the needles is not pleasant to me. You might get infection or diseases if the instruments is not fully sterilized. Getting a tattoo now is very popular, I think teenagers got influenced by music or their friends. For them if you have one you have authority and you are cool.

I dont think it is painful. Not unless you're getting one where the bone shows more then flesh then it'll hurt. It is alot safer to get tattoo's nowadays, especially in Western Culture. I want a tattoo because it is part of my culture and Religion(CAtholic raised) Bands and music icons actually got their tattoos from Tattooing cultures and religion. Buddist get tattoos for spiritual release. Immune to poltergeist, unleash a fierce spiritual guide within their bodies and Angelic help.

Hmmm actually the Bible says nothing against Tattoos, just not to mutilate your body and the saying "Your body is a temple" My temple is full of art and things they expresss myself. As God has wanted, i am being myself on my own free will. ~Raised Catholic and Spiritualist.

Its your choice. Polynesian designs are usually very popular and alot are custom made aswell. A good place to show off would be the arms and shoulders, legs are ok but will hurt alot more than arms and torso. Try the lower back. A Tiger is a nice one. Or try Bellona the Roman god of war. Its your body so its your choice, express yourself :).

a perching eagle - tattoo on my right arm
I have a tattoo in my right arm but its not that of a great quality as it was tattooed by my friend when we were teenagers now am planning to re-modify it properly. Actually i my tattoo is of a perching eagle with half open wings. Its not very clear but i am uploading it here so that you have a look. I really like body arts since i was a kid and am planning to tattoo some more in the future and this time professionally.

Hello Shula! In fact I don't have a tatto and I think I will never have. Tattoos can be really beautifull and I have a lot of friends who did some tattoos on their bodies. Some of the tattoos are really nice and I don't have anything against tattoos. But, I'm afraid of this idea that someone will stab me and paint some places in my body. It can be really hurt and it makes me shiver when I think of someone stabs me... Also, I'm afraid that if I do a tattoo, it won't look like I wanted and than I can't do nothing because the tattoo will stay on my bodyfor ever. There is no coming back and I am not sure I want to take that risk. I wish you good luck with having tattoos, if you are not afraid it's wonderful for you and I hope you will be satisfied with the result. Have a great day.

I currently have a wolf's head on my right shoulder. I am planning on getting two more- a dragon holding a sword on my left shoulder and a hawk on the small of my back. I'm pagan so I choose the wolf, dragon and hawk because they are my spirit animals. I have severe chronic depression and I have noticed that I am not so depressed since I got the wolf so I'm hoping that getting the others will help decrease the depression even further.

Shula- I don't have any really good pictures on this pc yet, but I can describe my tattoos. My first tattoo was my triquetra on my right shoulder. It symbolizes my connection to the Goddess in all her forms. My second tattoo was the Seal of the Necronomicon, which is a duplicate of my husband's. My third tattoo is an OM with fire and a lotus. It's gorgeous, and my first color. The OM is read, and fire is yellow with red tips. The lotus is blue with soft pink outlines in shading. I've a wonderful artist and I'm saving for my next tattoo. The next ones I want done are a Geisha standing in front of a Cherry Blossom tree with petals falling about her on my one arm, and a dragon/phoenix surrounded by water and a japanese shrine on my other arm. I've a huge back piece planned, and that will be the big one. It's based on a painting by an artist I like with added features such as a dragon and wolf which are totems for me. Namaste-Anora

i don't have any tattoos but lately i've been really into putting fake tattoos on my left wrist (cos i think it looks cute) lol... i've had asian symbols meaning love, fly, and dream... and at the moment i've got one of a panda which is i got at the Sydney Royal Easter Show just yesterday. I used to be really against getting a tattoo as it is pretty much against my religion.... but i've sorta been thinking about but i doubt i ever would... if i did though, it'd probably be on my left wrist and just something small, black, and simple.
